Scott Cooksey began tattooing in 1995, working in some of Dallas' most influential tattoo shops in Deep Ellum and downtown. Through years of dedication and hands-on experience, Scott refined his skills and built a strong reputation within the Dallas-Fort Worth tattoo community.
Before opening Lone Star Tattoo in 2005, Scott spent significant time traveling across the country as a guest artist and attending tattoo conventions. These experiences helped shape his approach to tattooing, blending classic influences with disciplined craftsmanship and a respect for tattoo history.
